Virginity is often associated with the presence of the hymen. Women who are still virgins are identical to the hymen that is still intact or has not been torn apart.
Many members of the community who believe, women with hymen have been torn are no longer virgins and have had sexual relations. What is the hymen?

Changes in the shape of the hymen can indeed occur with age. The hymen will change when a teenager enters puberty. Not only changes in shape, elasticity of the hymen will also change. Changes that occur in the hymen are influenced by hormonal changes, including the hormone estrogen.

Various Causes of torn hymen
Generally, the hymen will tear when penetration occurs, ie the entry of the penis into the vagina during sexual intercourse. However, that's not all that can cause the hymen to tear. Other activities such as horse riding, cycling, masturbation using sex aids, the use of tampons, and certain medical procedures can also cause the hymen to tear.
In children and adolescents, the hymen that is torn due to physical injury / trauma can recover faster than adults.
The Real Relationship between the Hymen and Virginity
The hymen is closely associated with virginity. In fact, not all women will experience a tear in the hymen during sexual intercourse for the first time.
The hymen can be torn for other reasons as mentioned above. What's more, there are also women who are born without a hymen.
Minor bleeding that occurs when first having sexual intercourse is caused by a torn hymen due to the penis penetrating it. According to one study, bleeding that occurs as a result of tearing of the hymen during sexual intercourse for the first time, only occurs in some women.
Whole or not hymen cannot be a benchmark for virginity, or determine whether a woman has ever had sexual relations. There are various other factors that can cause the hymen to tear.
